Getting More Followers for Your Google+ Business Page
For those of you using FB to build or market a business I've said it before: Facebook for business right now is DEAD. Free organic reach to the fans you worked hard to earn sucks at less than 5% and seems to be in a downward spiral. I'm not going to pay FB to build a following and be "social" then potentially have a business page be arbitrarily shut down.
It's happened to several of my friends. They lost a lot of time and money. (In hindsight they all admit that they had too many eggs in one basket.)
Google Plus has been shown to dramatically improve search engine rankings, which, in itself, is a sufficient reason to join the platform. By building your brand through this social media channel, you will be able to boost your SEO efforts and increase your business’s online exposure at the same time.
Build your website, get it ranked and develop an opt-in mailing list.

"Facebook FRAUD" or "Why I Will NEVER Pay for Facebook Advertising Again!"
"Facebook FRAUD" or "Why I Will NEVER Pay for Facebook Advertising Again!"
Quite frankly, I've been saying MOST of this for the last year and a half; I touched on it briefly in a blog post back in November 2012:
http://elscottharrell.com/facebook-now-charging-users-to-promote-personal-posts/
And have been cautioning others in my various Private Investigator Marketing social accounts, too.
Then the mind-fuck came at about 7:15 in this video and all of the blanks were immediately filled in.
If there has ever been a moment where I was so whole-heartedly serious about closing my FB account I cannot remember it.
I imagine there will be a class-action lawsuit coming soon and if you have stock in FB, I'd be blowing that out the door; advertisers will have lost all amount of trust in no time.

Is it time to abandon your marketing efforts on Facebook?
Is it time to abandon your marketing efforts on Facebook?
If you are using a Facebook page to promote your business, be prepared for further decline in your page's ability to reach fans. Due to a glut of advertisers and the increased competition among businesses to reach fans, old Facebook newsfeed optimization strategies are failing.
If you are not committed to a combination of paid post promotion, using your page to appropriately engage with other relevant pages and producing quality content, it's probably time to abandon Facebook in favor of more effective marketing channels - like Google+ pages!
