I think a lot of the comparison stuff is cultural; maybe I am blind to it, but I don't see it (as much) in other parts of the world.
That's very true.
Got to have a reason to get better at what we do. "Beat the other guy"! That kind of pressure is a self fulfilling prophecy of failure...
