Rarely does an Disney prop, a corny joke and an extraordinary weather pattern align themselves so perfectly. LOL. This is a photo I took of a Yeti exhibit while waiting in line for Adventure Everest at Animal Kingdom in Orlando last year. I've been waiting for the perfect time to use it but nothing seemed to fit until this monster freeze currently sweeping across the United States. I Googled "Yeti jokes" and the one I used above was perfect for both it's reference to Vampires (with fangs similar to the yeti mask) as well as to frostbite.

While I agree with much of this article, I certainly see a great deal of opportunity in Mexico without the ever-present and crushing rush to regulate and tax everyone into oblivion, the barrier to entry is often very high for migrants who do not understand the culture or have any patience.

Creating a realistic "people-to-meet bucket list" is a great way to identify your influencers and potential partners for future growth and fulfillment.

I had a list like this when I was running my online business and really amazing things happened with almost every meeting I worked to achieve. Out of them all, there was only one MAJOR disappointment, but so what!?! I learned I had attributed waaaay too much credibility to him anyway. Every other one was truly exciting and made the hard work our team was putting in absolutely worth it. One of the people on my list eventually bought my company!

The power of relationships is often forgotten today.

(And I would add that the book mentioned in the attached article was a HUGE influence on how I tackle entrepreneurship; I never miss an opportunity to recommend it to others!)

Google+ is altogether different than Facebook and Twitter.

Google+ is altogether different than Facebook and Twitter. It's more of a "connection engine" for special interests with a lot of deeply embedded benefits for content creators and business owners than it is a social network in the purest sense of the word.

While I have not quite yet cracked the code to increased engagement from the people in my circles, I am working on it. It's just a matter of finding my voice.

The retailer said its customers will not be on the line for any fraudulent charges that result from the data breach, and it will offer one year of free credit monitoring and identity theft protection to all guests who shopped in the retailer’s U.S. stores. Those who wish to take part in the program have three months to enroll.
